Thanks for the reality check. Do you (or anyone) know what impact on tkr surgery occurs when there is deformity (knock knee)?

I had knock knees that were interfering with my balance and gait. I had bone on bone but no pain. So a decision was hard because of having no pain. But I finally decided to go for it and had a bilateral on July 1 this year. I am beyond pleased with the results. I am doing better than expected even though I turned 85 in June. The procedure straightened the knock knees. I am having to learn to walk again because you use different muscles with straight legs. But I would have a talk with my surgeon and ask him what to expect from the surgery. I don't know if my surgery was unique or not. So ask as many questions as you can before the surgery. I hope that helps answer your question.
