I’ve suffered from anxiety and anxiety attacks all my life. I’m now a healthy-in-body 80 uear old lady and have never gotten used to the sickening feeling when am anxiety attack washes over me. I’ve tried all recommended remedies over the years. Some help, especially meditation. But it ‘s not a cure. It seems like a fulltime job trying to keep the sickening feelings at bay. I find clonasapam the best remedy. All I want is quality of life and could not care less about longevity. I also find a glass of wine relaxing. If any if you have come across a truly effective remedy for this disease, I’d appreciate hearing about it. Good luck everyone!

When you spoke of that feeling I knew what you were feeling. That feeling is so heavy to me. In my experience so far... prayer. I do my best at 73. I pray quietly in my head. Kind of like chanting. I use Scripture. Very simple, calm and quiet. I do quite activities. Blessing to you and your journey.

We are made up of 75% genes and 25% of everything else (lifestyle) according to a speaker I heard many years ago. My father was a worrier and so am I. All my life long 86 years. Good luck with overcoming this heavy weight. I feel for you.
