I’ve had three TKRs. One had to be removed and replaced to deal with an infection; a rare complication but it does happen. With all that personal history, I would still not hesitate to have TKRs as I did with my other knee a couple of years after my infection ordeal. It’s kept me moving and hiking at 74. If you stop moving, in my opinion, things start to seize up.

Agree! I know my knee will never be perfect . I do believe that moving and exercising is my priority daily. My favorite machines are the elliptical and recliner bicycle are the best for me. I do strength training on alternate days. Im choosing quality of living. Getting ready for tkr on the other knee in December.
