Neurologist doubts neck pain from migraine

I have headaches & neck pain . My doctor says I'm too old (75) to start getting migraines so I did acupuncture twice but it did not help. They say it can take up to a year for it to work I have my doubts. Anybody taking meds that help without a lot of side effects ? Thanks in advance. Bernie

I had neck surgery and it did not help my daily persistent headache but the doctor told me it would not help. Surgery did help my neck. Quilipta and acupuncture useless. In fact, no migraine meds or procedures helped.
