I buy shower heads with the least number of holes. Lots of small holes make lots of mist. I also buy cheap because I soak my shower heads in Dawn and hot water for fifteen minutes and then soak in bleach for thirty minutes once a month. This regimen corrodes the shower head over time so when that starts to happen I just buy a new one. I have not been able to find an all metal shower head to avoid the corrosion.
