That’s happened to me too. I think I was breathing in while I was swallowing, I think. Sometimes if I start to eat something with vinegar, before I even eat it, breathing in the scent can cause me to choke so much, terrifying.
I take famotadine and I try to remember to sit up straight to keep my airway open.
