Hi, you sent me a private message saying "I was doing 7%saline as a result of an exacerbation. I started to have a very wet sensation almost gurgling. I stopped the saline and it went away.
I have not started it again, but I was impressed by your statement attributing saline to preventing infection.
Have you experienced the sensation I did?
I was wondering if I should do saline intermittently."

I'm answering your question here because I think you can get more help from this thread than I can offer.
Based on your posts here, I believe you nebulize using the combination of the Aerobika and AeroEclipse. I tried that method and it made me too short of breath, so I can't speak to what you were feeling.
I nebulize saline intermittently, and I find if I stop for more than 2-3 days, the first minute or two can cause enough reactive coughing that I need to stop the machine for a minute and control it. Then I can proceed normally. I just finished my neb as I saw your message, and I can say I haven't felt any wet or gurgling sensation.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi.

I usually nebulize all the time with the aerobika. I use the AeroClipse separately with the Ombra machine.

I think I must have been getting too much saline if that is a thing. I stopped neb, but think I should work it into my routine.

Like you have said, there are many different ways and one has to find what works.

Thanks

Pat
