Can one stop taking prolia after the first shot?

I also have severe osteoporosis and I detest Prolia. My docto has given me the choice of Forteo or Aclasta. I am thinking about going drug free but am at high risk of fracture. -4 .2 and -4.3 in my spine and -3.4 in my hip.

I recommend Forteo (or Tymlos.) Your numbers are very low. You need to get out of the danger zone.

I'm constantly afraid of falling or breaking a bone. At least once a month, I feel like I have a hairline fracture in the ankles and knees and I cannot walk for a few days. This used to happen more often and last longer. Ice and rest help. I wonder if this happens to anyone else.
But I refuse to take any drugs. They all seem to have bad side effects. I might change my mind after my next dexa bone scan, but for now, I'm doing fine trying to do things slow and be careful. No bending or pushing.
