My docs plan on an annual PSMA PET scan, and MRI as well. I am Stage 4, Gleason 9, but I am in remission thanks to being quickly put on ADT dual therapy right at the beginning and then radiation. Highly mutated cancers are much more dangerous and frequent scans are an important part if treatment. I am 72 and plan to be around for a long time. My cancer had spread to one lymph node and both sides of my pelvis, but all of those areas are cancer free now.

Boy, do I like reading stuff like this. Just starting my journey with Gleason 9 with lymph and bone mets. Started doublet therapy the day after the PSMA PET lit up. Radiation coming up in Sept. It's good to read that some of this stuff works from actual and directly parallel experience.
Thanks, Have a great day!
