My Endo wanted me to talk to his clinical Pharmacist. She went over many of the current drugs. The pros and cons etc. I didn't realize that picking a Osteo drug isn't that easy. She reviewed my history with a fine tooth comb. Including my Dex scans. If you have certain health issues, some of the drugs are contraindicated. Tymlos was the number one for me. However, it is super expensive, plus daily shots sounded horrible. My financial situation is not that good. They suggested submitting paper work for financial help. It was approved. I am not being charged. The shot thing I still didn't like. The Pharmacist said that Tymlos is recommended for severe osteoporosis. Its suppose to build bone.
I dragged my feet for some time. I was afraid of the side effects also.

My Dr said Evenity would be better after I am finished with my Forteo to maintain my bone density and maybe increase it. Not sure how all this goes but I feel better 9 M later. No side effects for me thank god .
