I am glad it helped. I was on metformin for diabetes for about 4 years prior to my cancer diagnosis. My oncologist said that might have been the first sign of the cancer. But, nothing we can do about it now. We agree that we learn from our past, but we only can change what we do today and in the future. Now that my cancer is under control, I take one insulin shot a day and have no worries about sugar. Good thing too. I have some chocolate consumption to catch up on haha.

I was told 17 yrs ago that I have diabetes. It was staying steady in control until recently. I read that this can make sugars wacky. Though the last week, I have been getting CONTROL on it.. I am trying hard to though. Went swimming again tonight, control sugar, get in better shape for intestine resection surgery coming up. sigh...... wishing that when they take it.. I will NEVER see it or others of its kind again!!! Not sure if that is possible. Haven't even seen an oncologist yet.
