I took Myrbetriq for 30 days with no positive results. I also read the literature and there is a greater chance for dementia in those over 65 which scared me into not taking it anymore.

It took longer than 30 days for Myrbetriq to work for me, and we ended up having to double the dose. But I hear your concern about side-effects: I try to limit my prescription drugs to the ones I need to stay alive, so I eventually titrated off the Myrbetriq (with the approval of my urology oncologist) rather than staying on it long term. It was just a temporary crutch for me.
