This might be a stretch but was wondering if your dull ache could be diverticulosis?
That can cause a dull pain ( usually on left I think but also can be on right) and it can come and . Just a thought

Pain is just below right boob, but on the side. And I had a scan of small intestines recently. And I have colonoscophy every two years. GI doc has no idea as to what causes this dull ache/pain.
