I have tried ketamine—two weeks worth but not IV—the provider gave muscular injections in my arm along with a preventive dose of zofran ( I never felt nauseous). I was given the option to come back for booster injections as needed. I was very depressed when I got the ketamine treatment, despite being on multiple antidepressant medications. I do have stenosis in my back but did not notice any difference after ketamine. However, I did feel much less depressed with the ketamine treatments. I continue to take anti-depressant medications.
