I finally have some answers, been having test done and all has come out clear, so I finally got schedule for surgery on the 3 week of August, I am happy about that, since I am looking forward and praying that my headaches will go away, I know is a complex and delicate surgery, but I am relieved to know is happening. To be honest I am not nervous. I am hoping that the Neurosurgeon will be able to remove the meningioma. Before and after surgery advice that you all can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Stay positive! Eat healthy and start walking asap after surgery when you start feeling rested and up to it. Accept help from family and friends. Everyone needs help sometimes and right now it’s your turn

Diana,
Where are you having your surgery done? Do you have caregivers in place to be with you before and after the surgery?

I had emergency surgery for a meningioma which bled, a stroke. And 2-3 days in a neuro ICU. After that, the recovery was easy and remarkably pain free. From my experience, I recommend that you have someone monitoring not only your physical state but day-to-day things that you handle for at least several months. I quickly was functional physically but some piece of my executive functioning mind (like paying the bills) needed more time to recover.
