Please keep us informed how it’s going. I may be a candidate for PAE and am interested in the procedure and getting off tamsulosin and finasteride.

Day 11 here, doing well. I was on dutasteride which lasts much longer (and is more powerful) in the body than finasteride, so even though I stopped taking it about 3 weeks before my PAE it will be some time before it is all out of my system. I really hate dutasteride, just horrible stuff. That being said, I have had Tulsa and now PAE, BPH can be hard to stop so we will see if I need it after this. But at least for now the PAE was super easy to tolerate, was hardly anything to worry about. But I had a real careful guy do mine. It will be a few months before the PAE's full effect is felt, but I agree already I am pretty good, so thankful for all progress. In the future if I need something PAE was so easy to handle with a real careful doc doing it anyway, I would do again if I had to.
