Ca is calcium, usually oxide. Mg is magnesium, also usually oxide. I use oxides because they absorb slowly without fluctuations in the levels.

Also please try electrolytes. I started drinking Propel at the request of the pain management doctor at my orthopedists. It has reduced my cramps by about 98%.
