Hi, @lsdd13 - just wondering if you could provide more information on why you'd suggest metronidazole (Flagyl) instead of neomycin? Did metronidazole work best for you or someone you know?

Hi
I was told the standard antibiotic treatment is the rifaximin with either Neomycin or Flagyl. I react very badly to Flagyl so I did Neomycin. I’ve had 3 courses of treatment on this and NO change to my condition. I did not have any side effects.

I’m not suggesting it at all. If you’re afraid to take neomycin then Flagyl is your alternative
