This site suggests that treatment is often palliative....ensuring little or no further progression, reducing or eliminating symptoms to the extent possible...that kind of thing. IOW, the causes are thought to be several, and it's difficult in many patients to determine what their hypokinesis is. You don't have ischemia. Was sarcoidosis ever mentioned? Evidence of an infarction? I'm thinking none of those is the case, so yours is Ye Olde Ideopathic.
Personally, unless an echocardiogram, Doppler of the carotids, or an angiogram shows serious stenosis in any of the major vessels, you're probably what could be called 'average' for someone your age with your genetics and lifestyle.

Thanks sharing the link and insights. I have appointment with cardiologist today to review results. Never had any cardiac issues other than mild chest pain which I put down to stress.
