I’m 72 and I am experiencing waking up with headaches couple times a week. They last all day and sometimes two days. I take pain meds for chronic pain and they barely help. Front forehead area. I recently Reclast infusion in April and the Headaches started with that but went away after two weeks now only to start appearing consistently beginning in June. I went to ER and they want a brain scan which I am very afraid to do. They took bloodwork and ekg and my tests were ok. I’m at a loss. Anyone else have headaches like this or with Reclast infusuion for osteoporosis?

Babby, I have had a daily persistent headache for 6 years now, every day/all day. Neurologists cannot figure it out. I have done everything, including 4 spinal taps, 6 blood patches in my spine, every single migraine medicine, on and on. I am now doing PT because dizziness has been worse than ever. They think it is my eyes and an ocular migraine and vestibular migraine. Where do you live? Is there a headache center nearby. I go to Jefferson Headache Center in Philadelphia.

Hi there
I sympathise as I have had nearly daily headaches for about the last 15 years. I have had every possible therapy/ medication out there without success. My neurologist requested a brain scan, which did not explain the headaches, but DID show three small brain aneurysms for which I am now being followed. They would otherwise have gone undetected. Please reconsider the brain scan as it is safe and could explain your headaches. Take care
