Can you send a link to the literature you found saying that osteoporosis itself can cause arterial calcification? That’s news to me. That sounds very scary. I started Vitamin K-2 with MK-7, the approved type for directing calcium into the bones and not the arteries. I am familiar with the research in K-2 and have read the Calcium Paradox. However, I don’t understand how osteoporosis, where the bones are losing bone faster than building it up can cause arterial calcification. Can you explain that, please? That’s the last thing I want to hear today! Uggh...

It is true that there is a link, but they don't know why. Probably a good idea to discuss with a cardiologist and have whatever tests he recommends for cholesterol, artery health, etc.
