I do not think PN is primarily an aging thing. There are people in their 20s, 30s and 40s that have neuropathy. There are folks in their 80s and 90s with no neuropathy. It seems to be a complex phenomenon with multiple causes. Yes, our bodies change over time--all the more reason to not only "grit your teeth" but make dietary adjustments and find some exercise challenges that will work for you and make aging a healthy experience.

@arcuri24 Yep - so true! I'm 35 but I've had multiple neuropathies that started around age 19. Some are genetic, some are acquired. I've been thru the ringers and tried many things - SCS is the best thing for me + Gaba/Keppra 750 ER combo (trying to get off meds). Anything else anybody wants to know - feel free to ask. I've got quite the extensive experience with this and would be happy to help anyone who is in need of answers. 🙂
