Is it necessary to boil if you are using the Bololo sterilizer/dryer? I wash/soak my nebulizer pieces with dawn in very hot water, rinse with distilled water, and then transfer to the Bololo sterilizer/dryer. I usually use the SmartVest instead of an Aerobika. If I use the Aerobika, I use the same cleaning process on those pieces.

I believe she used the BBS (baby bottle sterilizer) for drying only.

There are mixed opinions on whether the Bololo stays hot long enough to achieve killing off NTM. I rinse, soak in Dawn, rinse with tap water, boil 10 minutes (sea level), then Bololo all cycles. Store equipment in Bololo . My thought, overkill doesn’t hurt. Some reuse the equipment after just washing and only boil once a week. I don’t know that there is a hard and fast rule, maybe from NJH? Another FB group believes boiling is the only way to guarantee sterilization. I lean towards this thought. It’s not difficult. Just set a timer so you don’t damage your equipment by boiling the water away.
A lot of overthinking and different opinions.
