After reading numerous comments, I believe that PN is a natural development due to aging and all you can do for it is grit your teeth and use the best pain cream. We all will develop it sooner or later with nothing to blame it on as our bodies wear out, but remember our bodies are just loaners and even earth is wearing out too.

I do not think PN is primarily an aging thing. There are people in their 20s, 30s and 40s that have neuropathy. There are folks in their 80s and 90s with no neuropathy. It seems to be a complex phenomenon with multiple causes. Yes, our bodies change over time--all the more reason to not only "grit your teeth" but make dietary adjustments and find some exercise challenges that will work for you and make aging a healthy experience.
