Anyone in Clinical trial for MEK Inhibitor IMM-1-104. NCT05585320?

Posted by sandyk62 @sandyk62, May 9 9:19am

Has anyone participated or currently participating in this clinical trial? Everything I have found looks promising. I’m considering participating in this study. The good thing is you get chemo and the trial pill. This is not a random or blind study. Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

Would you mind sharing if insurance approved histotripsy or is you are doing as self-pay?

Also, what were the key factors in being accepted for histotripsy? Does it depend on where the liver lesions are?

@gamaryanne I have the Blue Shield of CA PPO Medicare Advantage Plan and they've have been incredible during this whole cancer diagnosis. While most insurance companies like to say no; this one has always said "yes" to the meds or procedures I need to get approved. Not only has Blue Shield said yes to my initial consultation, contrast ultrasound, and the procedure; I've also been approved for a 2nd consultation on it through another provider; and I've met my maximum out-of-pocket copay for all in-network providers so I won't be paying any in-network copay's for this procedure. How are your liver lesions doing on the Naliri? Is the shrinkage continuing?

I just noticed the additional questions you had and I'm not sure I have the expertise to respond correctly. The only thing I see from a contrast ultrasound that they will do prior to procedure is they reported I had 2 large lesions and they measure them from anterior margin of abdominal wall musculature to center of lesion is 4.6 cm Distance from skin line the posterior margin of lesion is 7.3 cm. Is there bone, bowel, or lung and acoustic pathway? No
So the above must be some of determining factors. I'm guessing number of lesions, proximity to other organs and vessels is important. I've put in a call to the IR dr, but still haven't received a call back.

Wishing you the best as you start the trial. Some of the days are very long, the first month is super busy, but it seems to get better after that. We have our first scan in 2 weeks, praying this was impactful!

Just following up, how are things going with the trial? Have you got your scan results back yet? I hope that this trial is a game changer for you!!
May God put a healing hand over all of us that are fighting this disease.
