Here it is forbidden to use a chair higher than a sand chair, one about 4 inches off the grass to avoid blocking the view of those sitting behind you. There is a small section roped off for wheel chairs.
Please let us know how using your new chair worked out. I could go to outdoor concerts again if a chair like the one you got were allowed here.

You make a good point. I, too,am concerned about not blocking anyone's view. When I get to use the chair, I'll take steps––like ariving early, setting up near the back or off to one side––so as not to become an obstruction.
