I see you said you have nodules in your throat. You probably have nodules on your Thyroid! Have you had a biopsy? My daughter had a complete Thyroidectomy 2 years ago due to thyroid cancer. She is doing find today, but that is something you should have checked. Good luck!

I am going to mentioned an activity that many people in Del Webb use that have medical issues that prevent exercising.
It is water aerobics. I have degenrative disk disease also losing over an inch in height. I am 78 though. I have an old herniated disk in my back and overweight also (although working on it). I do water aerobics in our indoor pool and when closed for some reason do water aerobics at another outdoor that does water aerobics but not part of Del Webb.
In water aerobics you go into water and find a location your chest is in water. The water takes your weight off and you can do the exercise. We have one lady that has MS and has no use of her left leg and comes in a walker. We have others that have had knees replaced, hips, back suregeries with fusions, disk removed, etc.
I mentioned it only from the experience I have had with it providing a way to exercise with surgeries and medical conditons that prevent doing any exercise without being basically weightless in the water.
