It is quite possible that perhaps she is not using sterile technique. Has he tried to instruct her on how to cath properly and disinfect the catheters that she is using?

She well understands the hygiene issue. She is highly educated and because of her other health issues is very careful about the process. He gave instructions but does not listen. His assumption is that it is her fault if she has a UTI . A condescending, chauvinistic attitude. She had to forcefully demand an antibiotic for the last UTI. I just hope she can get back to the states before it gets worse.
