Creaky body, some bone pain - new since thyroidectomy?

Have you had your t3 levels tested as well as t4? Sometimes doctors skip t3, and it's very important. Often times people are in need of t3 supplementation after thyroid removal. You could see what the levels are and maybe try a very small amount. Low thyroid is definitely associated with body aches and pains.

I am in the care of an endocrinologist who specializes in thyroid cancer. I just had my thyroid levels checked - Tsh, thyroglobulin and antibody and t4.
T3 was not tested.
"In patients with thyroid cancer, thyroglobulin can be a tumor marker, and its presence or elevated levels after treatment can indicate a recurrence of the cancer."
I think the doctor's focus is on identifying cancer recurrence.
