I have just been tested by my Neurologist department for evaluation and it was determined that I have Mild Cognitive Impairment. Areas of concern, memory loss and memory learning. There was a significant difference in the first testing I had in 2023 and now 2025. I am 77 years old still active, working full time, and living independently. In August I will going back to to MD Anderson to have a MRI and blood work to see the comparison between by 2023 MRI and the results of the latest MRI to be given in August.

The reason for my MD Anderson visit... I am a recovering Cancer patient, now cancer free as of my June 2025 Mammogram. However I am taking a cancer preventive drug (Letrozole)since2021/ 2022. One of the side effects of this drug is Brain dysfunction. I am concerned and hoping that part of this impairment is the result of taking this drug. My mother died from the early onset of Alzheimer's(68) and her sister died at age for severe heart disease, high blood pressure and dementia. Father background of heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetics. I do not have high blood pressure, heart decease of diabetics. Since i was 28 eight I have been conscious of being physically active and practice good nutrition. Right now I am a little scared of what is going on in my mental health. Yes I do have a theripist
