Wow, the same thing happened to me, but mine was in sciatica and they put a cortisone steroid shot in my back between the L4 and L5 disc and it didn’t even make it better. Just made it worse. My leg is so weak. I can’t even go on steps I can’t get down from the curb. I can’t get in the car. It’s the worst But God bless you and I hope it works out for you. I just had my first cortisone injection in to my arthritic right thumb and it took place on Tuesday. My thumb feels better than it has in a long time. Maybe because it was just my thumb.
I hope you get some relief.
Have others had this problem with cortisone injections in the hand? Too early to tell but depending on how long it lasts I might be able to avoid joint surgery at least in the immediate future.
