At my appointment I mentioned the video and the man in it, just as an aside. When he told me he’s walking 3 miles a day all the these years later, I wasn’t expecting that. I have a follow up with Dr. Padia next week - will tell him the bruising is 90% healed just four weeks later. So far, so good.

That is such encouraging news, if I can avoid TKR with this procedure, I will do it. Don't know if you have heard of Iovera treatment, and it does sound similar to this, but I got that almost a year ago and it was a total failure, so trying something similar, at least for me, is a little frightening. But I am so happy it has worked for you. I can't even walk 3 minutes straight, much less 3 miles, so I know that man is a very happy man. And at his age! I am so happy for you, good luck on your follow up, but I think you know how that will be, complete success! If I had a guarantee I would do it tomorrow but I'm sure there is no guarantee.
