I’m 1 1/2 years out of surgery. The doctor told me that changes in the urethra and bladder can cause changes in urinating. I never had incontinence issues, but still have to wait awhile to empty out. I was also told that getting up every two hours while sleeping is normal. Hope this helps. Good luck

Actually getting up to pee every two hours is not too common. I never had that after surgery. At the most two times a night. 11 years after salvage radiation and 15 years after surgery i have some incontinence issues, uually less than one pad a day. I get up, at the most, one time a night, Many nights, I don’t get up at all and just pee in the morning..
