Good Morning. I was referred to a pain management doctor in February 2025, for my idiopathic neuropathy. I had tried Gabatentin, Lyrica, and almost all over the counter meds. I was so depressed after a failed surgery which caused more pain. My family didn’t recognize me, I didn’t recognize myself. I felt like I was going down the rabbit hole…didn’t care if I just laid in pain and felt sorry for myself. And that made me even more depressed as I wanted my old personality and will to live back. Happy to share more background, move forward this Pain Management doctor suggested Duloextine 60 mg….starting with 20mg…increasing over 6 -8 weeks to reach 60 mg. After one week of 20 mg, I was a different person. I actually wanted to live…now the antidepressant hasn’t helped with neuropathy pain, however with this medication I am able to handle it. Come up with solutions, and routines that help with pain. I have read all the negatives, but at age 75 and managing this horrid illness…I praise the drug and what it does for me.

It has helped some of my chronic pain (spinal stenosis) in lumbar and neck pain.
It used to help my depression but I have been kind of rocky lately.
