I HAVE READ THAT CALCIUM ASPARTATE ANHYDROUS IS BETTER FOR OSTEOPOROSIS AND CAN LOWER A DEXA SCAN BETTER THAN CALCIUM CARBONATE. IS THIS SO?

@rashida -- Thank you so much! I will try that. I try to get all my calcium from food, but sometimes, like when I am traveling, I need to supplement with pills.

My husband told me about swallowing with your head down. It really works.

My rheumatologist also told me that calcium citrate was better absorbed. But the pills are so big that I have trouble swallowing them!! Anyone have this problem? What do you do???

It comes as a liquid which might work better for you
