My name is Elaine and I live near Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
I suffer from chronic pain in my lower back and legs.
I also have neuropathy in my feet and am taking Gabapentin for that with so-so results.
My pain doctor had just started me on Suboxone which is primarily a medication to help with opioid withdrawal but has been found to help with pain.
I’ve been down the route of all the opioids.
I’m hoping the Suboxone will help me. I have been titrating it and by next week will be taking four pills a day.
I hope this works.
I can’t live with this pain anymore. If the doctors can’t find a solution, I will put MAID in place and just go away. I have no quality of life living with this constant pain.
