Absolutely!!! You need baseline numbers so you can see how the Tymlos is working. So many of these doctors donât monitor BTMs and really donât know what they are doing. Read Dr Keith McCormickâs book âGreat Bonesâ and it will help you educate yourself about the tests and results. I had to search high and low for a doctor that truly knows about OP and thank the Lord found one. I wish you the best!

Yes. What kind of a doctor do you have? Standard procedure is to get those markers done before you start treatment, then test them after three months to see if the medication is working, then again at six months. Of course, if your doctor doesn't know anything about it, then you have the wrong doctor. đ
