So sorry but you are wrong. My spleen was removed in 2007 with a third of my pancreas. I am 18 years post op now. You can live just FINE without a spleen. Talk to a doctor at Mayo. They will second this. Get surgery if humanly poss. Tumors in the pancreas must be CUT or lasered out! They can do most with laperscopes and that type of surgery doesn’t even hurt.
