Thank you.
I do see a pain doctor. I’ve had all necessary work ups. I just don’t care what’s wrong anymore, I just live with it. I know I have disk problems but repeating them here accomplishes nothing.
My pain doctor is trying very hard to help me and is hoping the Suboxone will help.
I have seen many suggestions on this site and if the Suboxone does not help, I will ask my pain doctor about some of the other medications.
In two weeks my rheumatologist will be injecting both my hips with cortisone and that will help a bit with the pain.
I’m just so sick of living in pain. I have no quality of life. I feel like the easiest thing is to just go away.
My back issues apparently are primarily caused by osteoarthritis and scoliosis. I unfortunately don’t know which disks are affected, because I don’t think that’s even relevant anymore.
My pain doctor has just started me on Suboxone.
Although it is primarily a medication to help people withdraw from opioid addiction, it has been found, off label, to be helpful for pain management.
I started with a very low dose to see if I could tolerate it and I did fine.
We are now increasing the dosage gradually so I will by late next week be taking four pills a day. I don’t know what the strength of this medication is.
Has anyone else tried Suboxone?
I’m desperate to get pain relief. I have no quality of life anymore. If I can’t soon get some help, I’m going to use MAID and just give up.
Anyone who has used Suboxone and has had good results, please leave a message.
I’m also using 50 mcg of Fentanyl patches.
