Because I live in the country, after showering I am able to walk on my back porch to let the sun dry me and expose the urostomy stoma to a little sunshine, no more than 15 minutes. It helps the natural healing of the skin.

Sounds like a good idea if you can do it. What do you do to stop the output while the stoma is uncovered? I was told to leave it uncovered for about 30 minutes to let the skin breath. I haven’t done it in a while. Thank you for sharing
