My podiatrist is researching the cream's efficacy but today my neurologist told me he did not think that this product would help my neuropathy. I am in the idiopathic category and he told me that I had a mild case, which I kind of agree with, as I have no pain. He did raise the possibility that antibiotics which I took for sinus infection may have done the damage to my nerves, but he was not conclusive about this. I still came away optimistic--I gained two pounds--and am hoping that this might mean that muscle strength is coming back. I was given a blood test for celiac disease -my neuro doctor explained that this can cause neuropathy. I guess it is important to have these tests and cover all bases. In the meantime, I remain ultra-cautious about Rx drugs.
