Yes! Of course, we always have to manage expectations- never going to get those ten year-old knees back - but this procedure has been a win. No discoloration, which can happen, and bruising is clearing up. No pain when I walk. Glad I did it. The outcome for me has been great.

I have just started seeing information about this and am very interested. Is this covered by insurance? (Medicare and private secondary) I am terrified of knee replacement and have been putting it off hoping for a less invasive procedure. Is it only done in specific areas?

I had one almost 2 weeks ago and seems like my knee got better. How and where was your bruise? Mine is behind my thigh and really big. It's going away a little with some arnica gel. That area is still a bit uncomfortable, pressure, when I walk sometimes.

did you do GAE to avoid TKR or to delay TKR? I am considering it for 2nd knee (1st had TKR) but wonder if can totally avoid TKR as the arthritis is not stopped by GAE.
