Thank you for the great note. We are always hopeful that we will find something new to help combat this miserable disease. We just started chemo last week, side effects were about as expected..
We have tried those drinks but are too sweet tasting for her. It makes it difficult to get her tro eat that type of high / protein drink..
very good to hear your pain levels are low. Best of luck and hopeful thoughts and prayers going your way..

How well does she tolerate the keytruda?

Not sure which regiment of chemo she is on but some of them make your food taste funny. Like it doesn't taste like you remember so what ever she wants get it for her. I lost 20lbs before I even went onto chemo and then lost 20lbs while on chemo then lost 18lbs after surgery just make sure she eats. I was eating sugar free jello, plain pasta , mashed potatoes and then I would crave things like shrimp, pineapple and Mexican foods weird I know but at least I was eating. She needs to keep her strength up. Have you tried to put the Ensure into like a milkshake from but instead of ice cream just put it into a blender with ice maybe it would make it less sweet for her. I know some of the flavors were not that good. Good luck to you and your wife.

@uni2025 I make my own protein drink so they aren't sweet. I use Orgain, or a vegan protein powder, vanilla flavored, mixed with 8oz of unsweetened almond milk and 1/2 banana and then I add about 2oz of filtered water to thin up the shake a bit and mix in the blender. Hope you and your wife are doing better.
