I take 3 allergy noses sprays and one allergy oral pill (was zyrtec now 60mg allegra) daily to keep allergies under control. I was having 1-6 exacerbations/year until last November when my lung doc switched my 3 inhalers to Trelegy and also added an injected biologic, Dupixent.

Since then, I haven’t had any exacerbations. I’m fortunate that this new combo has really helped. I used to have eosinophils >300!

I’ve never started maintenance azithromycin as we prefer to save it for use when I have flare ups.

Wonderful news….. I am trying to get my husband to try Dupixent….I am paying attention to all the feedback. Good luck to you!

I have been on arithomycin ( 500mg)for years 3 times a week. I also take Ipatropium Bromide nasal spray twice a day. I have severe allergies and I've notice in the past anytime I became ill or had exasperation the root cause seem to be my sinuses. Knock on wood no ER visits for 7 years now.
