Hi to all, I am a 72 y/o male. I have had chronic pain for over 20 years. I have had two lumbar laminectomies and two cervical diskectomies. I have on opiates for over 20 years with little relieve of pain. Of course as I have gotten older the pain gets worst. I have been on MS Contin ER 15mg every 8 hours and Hydromorphone 4mg twice daily for break through pain for over 10 years. Medicare is my primary insurance and their formulary only covers a few pain medications. I don't like taking the opiates. The opiates have caused numerous issues. I would really like to try something else beside medications.
