Hi @sully19 Welcome to our head and neck group. No experience with cisplatin but I had constipation during radiation, likely due to being a bit dehydrated and not getting normal exercise. Likely someone will see your post soon and pipe in having used cisplatin. If anything else pops up, don't hesitate to ask.
By the way, you are likely to continue downhill for a couple weeks after you finish radiation and the turn around and recovery is very slow. Good healing.

I had radiation and cisplatin for a supraglottic tumor and lymph node cancer. Yes, the constipation was horrible. Looks like you are almost to the finish line. Good for you!
With me, after a couple weeks post treatment I took 2 extra strength EX-LAX and within 12 hours-WOW!
I felt like I lost 10 lbs. I gradually got back to a regular schedule. Actually, a much more consistent bowel movement schedule than before treatment. I think it's just a matter of time and NO MORE CISPLATIN-YEAH.
