I’m sure glad I came across this info. I had both sides of big toenails removed due to ongoing pain caused by ingrown toenails that caused pain for many years. That was 3 mths ago and I still have this yellowish brownish scab on one side. Is this normal? Do you recommend using any kind of cream to get them to heal?

Here is what my PCP told me, I have had this done on both feet.
Keep it moist with antibiotic cream and Keep it covered during the day. Keep it dry and clean. If your feet sweat, change the sock and bandage whenever wet. Soak once a day in warm water with dishsoap, air dry and rebandage.
If the scab begins to ooze it may be infected. Then you will need to see a doc.
The big one this time of year - STAY OUT of Lakes, pools and spas until healed.Boo! Ocean water is okay.
