@skybolt Im very glad your husband has almost completed the chemo! I remember my husband ringing the bell and all the nurses on the sides when he ran to ring it. It’s a great accomplishment. Some can’t do the full line of chemo.
My husband is back to normal…pretty much. A few weeks ago he had his JP Drain removed, had his Port removed and 1 stent in his stoma, also removed. He wears a 1 piece pouch by Coloplast…he just sticks it on and changes it every 2 days. I’ve been giving him organic protein shakes since he got home. Also, organic food with high protein content. Lentil soup for fiber etc. He likes to make his own salads with organic chicken & veggies. He drinks 2 liters of Mountain Valley water each day and he’s had no UTI’s. At night he uses the Convatec container which has a tube to attach to his pouch…I think that’s how he does it…and he bought a special wash for it. He’s always been extremely self sufficient and does it all himself. By the 2nd week home…he was taking walks with me around the block…mowing the lawn….but no lifting anything. He’s been on the go a lot and has now started jogging and bike riding again. Thank God…We gave God all the Glory and Praise for the doctor finding the bladder cancer before it left the muscle…if he waited any longer to go to the urologist…the cancer would have left the bladder. Praise the Lord it didn’t metastasize. Also,Everyday we pray for all His miracles and blessing. I’ve been praying for your husband that he is NED or Cured after these chemo treatments🙏🙏🙏🙏 He does remember to rest everyday…that’s needed. He’s going to go back to his desk job soon. I hope soon…I think I might be getting on his nerves. I’m too over protective. How are you? Are you feeling tired or worrying? When I was feeling that way, I quoted scripture. If you have any questions about anything, feel free to message me. I would love to talk. God bless you and may God put His Healing Hands on your dear husband 🙏IJN Amen🙏

Rose I am so happy to hear things are going well. This is so uplifting for my husband to hear. The chemo has his Red blood cells low so he is weak and dizzy which he is not use to being. I am getting so many good tips from you . Thank you and may God continue your healing and full recovery. ❤️
