Hi sorry about your REM have you been tested for Parkinson? I went through nuclear brain test with contrast. I believe it was called a DaT scan. Oh and a brain wave test. This how they found my PD. I just heard of PD boxing classes. So I might try. Helps with your balance. I do not seem to be having night terror any more. They are terrible. I have short bouts of waking up with my hand or hands extended reaching for something. I catch myself just sitting up in bed. Hang in there. Let's talk again.

I was diagnosed @mayoclinic with Pure Autonomic Failure
in2021 (Orthostatic Hypotension main symptom).
It was suggested my events of RBD in previous years was precursor of PAF. In clusters, Id have violent nightmares with same theme-someone about to kill me & my whole body trying
to ward off the attack-/punching/lurching foward/
screaming etc Twice I bolted off the bed to defend myself,
once breaking my clavicle and once hitting my head on corner of wall w/lacerations. I was always completely aware of the “fighting”/ defending myself circumstances of each episode even as I woke up. And i was immediately clear-headed. It wasnt always a person, sometimes a sort of frightening scifi looking creature. Neurologist considered Clonopin but decided it might contribute to unbalance/falling that is part of my PAF. In the last 2-3yrs I have occassional episodeof RBD but theyre not “violent”nightmares, just vivid “bad” dreams. I empathize &
sympathize with anyone who experiences Rem Sleep Behavior Disorder and hope
you find help/suggestions on how to deal with it.
