My doc, rheumatologist, told me that calcium citrate was more easily absorbed and also easier on one’s stomach.

Recently, I read an article that cited that calcium citrate should be taken at night as our circadian rhythms make it prime time for bone rebuilding.

My Rheumatologist suggested it as well, but it made me nauseous, and by the 4th day I threw up the pill. Went back to Caltrate. My multivitamin has some calcium in it. My blood calcium
is normal.
